i saw the departed which was REALLY great, the script was so well written and leo did a good job, i felt like ive watched him grow into himself and he's actually a pretty darn good actor. also, stranger than fiction is my new favorite, it makes you laugh and cry and emma thompson is GOD. as is dustin hoffman. then i saw the prestige which is good but a little confusing and the end kind of sucks but christian bale and the woman who plays his wife are really good. scarlett Jo SUCKS. I dont get the obsession, yes she's pretty but she is exactly the same in every role.
I cant wait to go home next week, i feel an emptiness inside me when i think of LA, i love NY but i never feel that longing for it when im in LA i just kind of think "Oh it'll be fun to go back" but thinking about my family and driving around in silverlake just makes me so happy.
and then after thanksgiving only a few weeks, then christmas!! im a bad jew, but xmas is seriously my favorite holiday, not for the religious aspect at all, but for the family traditions and the cheeriness and the PRESENTS. I hope next semester doesn't suck because of my new group and schedule. I love everyone in my group so much its going to be hard to leave them, and my classes are as follows:

the system nyu uses sucks so much. ive tried to get into my required producing classes since last year and they're always closed. aaaah
